Tyus King is elated to join the cast of Last Bite. Tyus is a Brooklyn-based actor who has experience as both a stage actor and a film/television actor. His recent film and tv credits include Kyle, from a low-budget sitcom titled Under Cover Comic written and directed by Bobby Freidman and the role of Andy in the short film “Boxed” written and directed by Alam Virk. Tyus’s noteworthy theatre credits include Lumiere (Beauty and the Beast) and Lord Farquaad (Shrek: The Musical) with Prairie Repertory Theatre, Enjolras (Les Miserables) with Sioux Empire Theatre, Tybalt (Romeo and Juliet) with Mission Theatre, Angelo (Comedy of Errors) with the Zephyr Theatre and playing the title characters in The Traveling Lantern Children’s Theatre Companies productions of The Adventures of Robin Hood and Vlad Goes For Gold. Tyus loves having the opportunity to bring new and exciting roles to life and working with artists who rely on each other to bring forth the best production that they can possibly produce!
Miranda Holliday is a playwright, vocalist and theater artist from Columbus, NJ with a passion for empowering others through art. As a performer, they have participated in several Off Broadway productions such as Ain’t Missbehavin and now The Magical Journey of Arlenkina. They have received a Kennedy Center Honor for Distinguished Performance, distinguished actor, and nationally recognized performance for their role of ‘Lena Younger’ in Albright’s production of A Raisin in the Sun. In addition, she’s part of the Miranda Family Fellowship awarded to exemplary artists of color. As a playwright, her plays and songs have been performed in some emblematic New York stages such as Feinstein’s 54 Bellow, the Rattlestick Theater, the Black Voices Festival or the Little Fire House.
Kent Benwell is thrilled to be making his Off-Broadway debut in The Magical Journey of Arlekina. A Brooklyn-based actor and vocalist, Kent has previously performed in two TYA national tours with Stars Within Reach, and most recently starred in I Left My Heart: A Salute to Tony Bennett at Pines Dinner Theatre (Allentown, PA). Noah is new to musical theatre having spent the last 15 years as a songwriter and solo performer. He graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston with a degree in Piano and Jazz Composition. Noah has released 10 albums of original music including his debut solo album ‘Am I Awake’ in 2011. His groundbreaking album entitled ‘The Left Side of the Page’ revolutionized the way progressive Jewish communities around the world engage with their liturgy.
Christoph Stocker started his artistic and vocal training at the institution of the Vienna Boys’ Choir, which allowed him to travel the whole world – from Arabia to South America to Japan. He shone as a soloist, for example, at Carnegie Hall and as the lead in the opera “Erwin das Naturtalent”, which was a cooperation with the Vienna Folk Opera. Furthermore, he shot movies in the Massai Mara with Jane Goodall, in Vienna with Elisabeth Orth, and many more. Subsequently, he was drawn to move to the US to study Acting for film and stage and is now an alumnus of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Recent projects include four short films shot in Los Angeles with directors such as Rayna Campbell, a concert at The Green Room 42 by Emmy-Award-winning composer Sean Pallatroni as well as a concert at the Austrian Cultural Forum New York City. The Magical Journey of Arlekina will be Christoph Stocker’s Off-Broadway Debut.
Most recently took part in “a sketch of New York” after moving to the big Apple.
Educated at Lipper Academy, an academic track for musical theater, and took part in a number of productions in Israel such as: the noteworthy life of Howard Barnes (dream ballet Maggie and experimental) , the wild party (Nadine and co-choreographer), Carrie (ensemble) and more.
Played a lead role in “when you dance”, an original musical co-written and choreographed by her. Much gratitude to my husband who is always by my side and is my biggest supporter.
Aly LaHay is a dancer and choreographer. She has been dancing since she was 2 years old and has never grown tired of it. She recently moved to New York City to fulfill her dance dreams and work as a professional dancer. She has choreographed many pieces and loves performing on stage. She is so grateful for the way that dance has shaped her life.
LEXI SIM is over the moon to be joining this spectacular cast in her first Off-Broadway show! Born in Calgary, Canada dancer/choreographer Lexi is a graduate of The Ailey School Certificate Program, where she was also a participant in the Ailey Student Performance Group and the New Director’s Choreography Lab. Lexi trained with Dance Explosions, Alberta Ballet, National Ballet of Canada, Joffrey Ballet, Hubbard Street and Springboard X. Lexi can currently be seen at the new David Geffen Hall at Lincoln Center in visual artist Jacolby Satterwhite’s “An Eclectic Dance to the Music in Time” in collaboration with The Studio Museum in Harlem and Public Art Fund.
Lexi is also a current company member of the Hanna Q Dance Company, Forza Dance Co., DanceKerr & Dancers, and AP Dance Co. Gideon’s experience is versatile, ranging from full rock and pop albums to theater and film, and has worked in many different music genres. With more than 400 music pieces to his name, a number one song on the radio for a whole year, and a masterpiece prog rock album, and videos on YouTube with over 2 million views, now living in Manhattan, stepping on to the next level in music productions.
Eden Atias was born and raised in Haifa Israel. At age 5 she started her career as a dancer and an actress. Eden attended Theatre classes at Ironi Aleph High school and studied at Beit Tzvi, Ramat Gan city. Throughout her career, she has owned a company in Israel for 7 years called “EDEN ATIAS PRODUCTION”. Her work has consisted of clowning and Commedia del’ art’e.
Along with Eden’s career as an actress, she has also served in the Israeli army. After serving in the army Eden went to live in Tel Aviv city. Where she was on Israeli T.V and performed in multiple theaters.
In Eden’s recent life she moved to continue her studies as an actress in New York at The New York Film Academy. This has been the most significant change since arriving in New York. Eden has been writing, directing, and coordinating various art shows and music events both in Israel and New York, and is now slowly expanding her Production company “EAP” in the United States. Eden was working as a Project Manager at ISRAMERICA, along with promoting nightclubs in her spare time, Social media company, etc.
These days, Eden is producing her dream new musical, The magical journey of Arlekina on Off-Broadway & Last Bite a play inside of a house.
Erez Ziv is a costume and stage designer.
He is an Israeli artist who found is talent
in the art. He built a huge cardboard dragon who changed his life.
The dragon is presented in the Jerusalem science museum, Dizengoff center Tel Aviv and different festivals. Erez built a magical venture of a huge kingdom from cardboard that parents and children alike could enjoy inside and play. With creative and impressive imagination Erez is designing these days the costumes and stage of Arlekina.
